The recent launch of my $ Super Power Notes-inspired by Secret Santas & retired Raktivist ( random acts of kindness activist ) Secret Agent L-has the unintended consequence of adding members to my Street Patrol. This pleasant surprise has us encouraging each other to be on the lookout for folks to help and sharing the good news.
As I type, there are three Street Patrol members around the country, with Kentucky’s Cuper C routinely hitting the pavement. My Street Patrol is a working class ( therefore affordable ) response to poverty, low morale and crime that isn’t time consuming, but is timely to those we touch.
Years ago I wrote about real life superhero-led community coalitions ( RLCCs ), inspired by our brand to do good. We have a morale booster capability which should be leveraged to reinvigorate grassroots humanitarianism and crime prevention. We simply can’t await rationing from elsewhere. Such coalitions join creative advocates and conventional ones together into highly motivated united fronts. They would directly address street needs, instead of solely directing clients to distant offices.
It appears my Street Patrol became such a coalition. I’m a 1 Man Street Patrol no longer! 🙂.
